ELECTRONIC DATA INTERCHANGE RESOURCE
1 Analysis, design, mapping and development of EDI messages
2 Develops technical specifications, message implementation guides and documentation aligned with the EDI strategy
3 Interact daily with customers; and providing superior 1st line support.
4 To be the technical consultant for the trading partners and is involved with deploying systems using the
traditional EDI standards and XML-based implementations.
5 Work with business units to determine EDI requirements; perform transactional testing and support external customers and vendors.
6 Administer on-going EDI implementations including setup and testing
7 Conduct EDI audits to ensure on-going compliance
8 Evaluate new technologies industry practices to ensure continuous improvements in our electronic commerce processes

Knowledge

1 EDI FACT based EDI standards and broad experience in EDIFACT interface design, development and deployment.
2 Microsoft Project, Visio, and MS Office
3 EDI delivery methods such as AS2, FTP, etc.
4 Webmethods knowledge an advantage, XML, and SQL Server.
5 Configuration and setup of EDI messaging
Competencies
Certifications in EDI technology

Qualifications:
Plus 5 years of similar experience. Exception can be made if person has 5 + years relevant experience and
some tertiary level courses.
