QA Engineer

Location
Chandigarh, India

Responsibilities:

 Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments

 Define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing

 Create effective manual and automated test plans using a variety of toolsets

 Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing

 Perform black box testing as required

 Develop automated testing systems using tools, scripts and data set

 Work collaboratively with development during all stages of projects to provide in-process testing results

 Track and report defects using appropriate tools

 Develop, nurture, and maintain relationship with other functional teams

 Mentor junior staff members; develop and present group training sessions
Desired Skills:

 Knowledge of SAP, Oracle Applications, PeopleSoft or any other ERP system is highly desirable

 Experience of working in software products company

 Experience of working with global teams

SALARY: 4 lacs to 10 lacs and negotiable

Required Skills

 BE/BTech/MCA/Equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university or college

 4 to 8 years of software industry experience and successful track record in product testing

 Experience with white box and black box testing

Experience in analyzing requirements, functional and system design documents

 Experience in executing test plans and communicating results

 Knowledge of automation framework and implementation

 Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle

 Excellent problem solving skills

 Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Desired Skills

 Experience of working on enterprise applications written on Microsoft platforms

 Knowledge of SAP, Oracle Applications, PeopleSoft or any other ERP system is highly
desirable

 Experience of working in software products company

 Experience of working with global teams
