We have positions open in system testing group (SIT/SVT) at our Bangalore facility. Ans one urgent in Routing and Signaling development group with 2-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate is expected to have one or more of the following skills with 2-8Yrs of industry experience in respective areas. 1. SONET/SDH/Ethernet/OTN/DWDM functional and protocol testing: Hands on experience in testing of Faults, PM, Protection, Configuration management features along with various SW applications is a must. It is highly desirable to have good understanding of SW Architecture and be able to explain the design considerations for the features worked on. Also the candidate is expected to be familiar with the respective industry standards (ITU, IETF and/or respective RFCs).


2. Optical control loops testing: Hands on experience in design and testing of optical line amplifiers (EDFA/RAMAN), mux/de-mux, WSS/ROADM, optical filters and switches etc…. Good understanding of software controls and its interaction with driver code and DSP/FPGA components will also be highly desirable.

3. GMPLS based (Optical) Control Plane testing: Hands on experience with routing and signaling protocols such as OSPF, CSPF, RSVP-TE for optical transport networks is a must. Knowledge of ASON, NNI, UNI is desirable. Candidates with exposure to highly complex chassis based telecom systems will be given a preference. For the ideal candidate it is desirable to have good understanding of SW Architecture and be able to explain the design considerations for the features worked on. Also the candidate is expected to be familiar with the respective industry standards (ITU, IETF and/or respective RFCs).
